You're a mystery yourself

I am currently working in Mr Chong's shop. He is very kind for letting me have this job. However, if I slack off at times, he will explode in afit of anger. I am quite scared of him. He tells me that I have been doing quite well for the past month and gave me a good payment. I get to cycle around delivering goods, and there are a lot of ups and downs. However, what i find most difficult in this job is going up the hill carrying the heavy goods. It is so tiresome to cycle all the way up, but it is very fun when going downhill as the speed you go is awesome. The speed makes me feel alive, my heart beats in overdrive.

This is my family. My father is the man in the middle. The woman to his left is my mother who is holding my brother Ah Kee and I am next to my mother. My little sister Ah Lin is the shorter girl, while Ah Nya is the slightly taller girl. The woman behind behind my sister is my auntie Mdm Raj and the other woman at the extreme left is my granny who passed away earlier than my father.

This is Ah Hock here and I wanted to post this in this blog as I wanted everyone to know this. As the tilte says, never give up hope. Though the present may seem hopeless, the future may have unlimited possibilities. I learned this after my father had died... My family struggled to live and I had to work to support the family. However, now, my family is full of people who has achieved great things. This is my advice to you all.

My father died today, I was devasted. However, I cannot cry. All my family are sad. Being the eldest brother, I had to be strong. Ah Nya is right, father was in such great pain when he was sick. He could not even recognise us. If he continued to live, it would mean that he would suffer more. We are all mourning, Mother and I are dressed entirely in black. But Ah Nya, Ah Lin, Ah Seng and Ah Kee are wearing black shirts over their uniforms, as they still have to continue studying. But for me, sigh... I don't even want to mention it. I had to stop school to work for the family. Times are hard now, but it won't be in the future...
